"Spanska spåret" ("Spanish Trail") Master cooper Manuel Cabello Marquez in Spain builds the sherry casks for Mackmyra. Mackmyra themselves saturate the casks with sherry to get an even quality, impossible to achieve with pre-used casks. Privus:05 was created in Manuels honor, from sherry saturated casks. Privus was originally only sold as part of the "Mackmyra Whisky Library", together with Preludium. They came in a brown tube. The last bottles were sold on a Birka cruise ship for 1050 Swedish kronor, without the brown tube.
