Mackmyra DNA is a Small Batch crafted exclusively from 30-liter casks. 33% 1st Fill Swedish oak 30L, elegant recipe 33% Ex-Bourbon 30L, elegant recipe 13% Oloroso 30L, elegant recipe 9% New American oak 30L, elegant recipe 7% Ambassador cask 30L, elegant recipe 5% PX-cask 30L, elegant recipe Notes according to Mackmyra: ose: Distinct notes of vanilla and chocolate fudge, along with hints of marzipan. Sweet, orange citrus in the form of mandarin is noticeable, and the fruitiness is complemented by ripe plums and a hint of tropical mango and pineapple. Taste: All the aromas from the ”nose” are found in the taste, and it's a rich flavor with a warming mouthfeel. The vanilla and fudge are prominent, while tangier notes of red apples and candied ginger land further back in the mouth. Finish: The aftertaste is long and balanced. It also introduces spicy and herbal elements like cinnamon and straw. These are nicely balanced by the bitterness of the oak and sweet red berries.
