In the autumn of 2015, Mackmyra launched "Specialfatet" as a new alternative for Mackmyra Reserve. It was a Gravity cask (Amerikansk oak with ends of Swedish oak) saturated with Oloroso and they used the campaign slogan "Tre smakfavoriter i spännande förening" ("Three taste favorites in an exciting union"). The labelled bottles were produced as part of the marketing campaign, and at Cinderella Whisky Fair in 2016 you could fill your own bottle straight from the cask. | |
