Moment Körsbär has been matured on casks saturated with sweet cherry wine. "The pink color of this whisky comes from finishing on casks that previously stored sweet cherry wine." according to Mackmyra.  Notes according to Mackmyra: Nose: Fruity and spicy with sweet cherry, Oloroso Sherry, warm pear fudge, vanilla and toasted oak. Taste: Round notes of oak. Spiciness and prominent notes of cherry together with Oloroso Sherry, ginger, herbal spiciness and vanilla. The texture is smooth and medium thick. Finish: Long, fruity and spicy aftertaste with cherry, Oloroso Sherry and toasted oak. 1002 of the 2400 bottles were released at Systembolaget. Casks used: 1st fill ex-oloroso 128 L, American oak, previously filled w. sweet cherry wine • 1st fill ex-bourbon 200 L, previously filled w. sweet cherry wine • Mackmyra Reserve 30 L - 1st fill ex-Bourbon - 1st fill American oak, previously filled w. Oloroso - Combination cask made of ex-bourbon and new Swedish oak.
