Moment Svensk Ek 2008 was distilled on Swedens national day 2008 and bottled in April 2018, matured on 5 first-fill 100 litre Swedish oak casks. Notes according to Mackmyra: Nose: Fruity, buttery and oaky, with toffee cookies, chocolate, pear fudge, marzipan and ginger. A light saltiness and minerality can be found as well as notes of Roquefort cheese. Taste: Fruity and spicy with a soft oakiness. Spicy, toasted oak and tobacco leaves with butterscotch and vanilla.
