Private Label for Kingfisher restaurant in Mariestad, Sweden. Double Wood Oloroso Swedish Single Malt Whisky. The whisky is matured on a few carefully selected casks, mainly Oloroso saturated casks. The result is a fruity and fullbodied whisky with hints of raisins, figs and dates, that marry well with the sweet vanilla character from bourbon casks. Notes according to the restaurants webpage: Nose: soft with dry fruits and lovely vanilla. Taste: sweet with a hint of elegant oakiness. Finish: a symphony of sweetnes and som spiciness from the oak. It has a very appealing amber colour. | |
