A single malt from Mackmyra Gravity Distillery, made from a mix of casks all between seven and eight years old, of which 35 % are freshly seasoned Oloroso casks and 65% are 1st fill-bourbon casks with two years finish on the Oloroso casks. The whisky is golden yellow with light red reflections and contains roasted oaky vanilla notes with raisins, toffee pears and citrus. You also find anise, liquorice and ginger, while toffee, raisins and soft oaky notes colour both taste and finish. As the name implies, the whisky has been matured on old sherry casks of Oloroso type, which gives taste of dried fruits and nuttiness.
