Jan Guillou's character Carl Hamilton is active again. A new novel was released just a few days ago and new TV episodes have been recorded for screening later this year. And now there's also a bottling, an elegant and sofisticated whisky with influences of both Sweden and USA, just lika Hamilton. Matured on american bourbon casks and casks of Swedish oak. If you open the label you can read a small text about the bottling and Carl Gustav Gilbert Hamilton, written by the author Jan Guillou. Notes according to Mackmyra: Nose: fruity citrus with a base of appple and pears, together with sweet honey and mild pepper Taste: Spicy cinnamon, pepper and citrus. A rounded taste of toffee and vanilla. In the background we find nuts and almond mass Finish: A balanced finish with vanilla and a distinct oaky finish
