A new German independent bottler, that chose Mackmyra as their second whisky release. Notes according to Dram Way: Nose: Red fruit notes immediately flow out of the glass. Cherry candies bring back childhood memories, lots of sugar and sweetness. But then also a good impact from the small oak barrel, which recedes again over time. Strawberries, icing and some cookie dough follow. The alcohol is noticeable and yet well integrated. Taste: The sweetness from the nose runs over the tongue. Again sweets, cotton candy and lots of cherry flavor. Then some strawberry punch. The oak notes emerge and contrast pleasantly with the sweetness. Slightly sparkling towards the end. Finish: The finish is long and warming. The whiskey remains pleasant with a berry sweetness and hints of red wine.
