The first batch of Motörhead whisky is based on a five year old whisky matured on new American oak casks. , where some of the whisky has had a six month finish on Oloroso casks. Notes according to Mackmyras webpage: Nose: Fruity, nutty and spicy oak barrels with aromas of vanilla and almond, citrus and dried fruit. Spicy and herby aromas of tobacco and anise. Taste: Spicy, fruity, slightly nutty and herbaceous character of citrus, tobacco leaves, almonds and vanilla oak barrels.
