Traveler is the same whisky as Svensk Ek with 10% of the whisky coming from Swedish oak casks, in a bottle that was specially designed for Scandinavian Airlines. Traveler is served in Business Class och PLUS, and available for sale in Go, on intercontinental and European flights. Notes according to Mackmyra: Nose: Fruity with citrus, pear, apple and honey. A light oakiness with sweet, lightly toasted bread notes and fresh butter toffee. Taste: Sandalwood, dried ginger, black pepper, roasted oak barrel and herbs to our whisky. Fruity and smooth with citrus, caramel and honey. A light oakiness can be discerned at the end. Finish: Tuned and balanced with hints of dark chocolate. | |
