Nose: Mainly vanilla on the nose here. Given a bit of time I also pick up cereal, barley, and milk chocolate. Cannot find any coffee notes on the nose. Aha! having left the whisky in the glass for a good half hour I do pick up notes of lukewarm coffee. This – to me – is a wonderful aroma. I do not drink coffee myself, but I love the smell of coffee. It makes me feel good, and it makes me hungry :-)
Taste: Rich and full mouthfeel. Sugary and cool. Reminds me of ice coffee, although slightly watered down / diluted. White pepper and cinnamon.
Finish: Medium long finish. Very nice mix of coffee and chocolate with a touch of smokiness. There’s a certain green note to the finish as well, slightly herbal
